چکیده
Super-span (20 m) non-prestressed T-section reinforced concrete beams have been in service for more than 30 years and are common Chinese highway bridges. However, the actual performance of these super-span (RC) that with FRP, including their process failure from a state to state, has not determined. In this study, original RC T-beams, 20 m span retrofitted were taken bridge. Their flexural was detected via experiments laboratory. The revealed sectional strain distribution is non-uniform. mid-span ribs clearly play role strengthening section bearing reservation studied based on subsequent analysis. It became clear load-bearing an old T-beam changes during entire life specimen; only because depression resistant capacity measure, but also due updates load codes.

Experimental Investigations on The Flexural Strength of PET Reinforced Concrete
Due to the rapid industrialization taking place globally, the problems generated are acute shortage of construction material and increasing in productivity of wastes. The production and consumption of plastic and the rate at which solid plastic waste (SPW) are created have increased considerably. Plastics constitute 12.3% of total waste produced most of which is from discarded water bottles. Th...
متن کاملAn Experimental Study of Flexural Strength of Reinforced Concrete Beam Due To Corrosion
Reinforced concrete beams are normally designed as under reinforced to provide ductile behavior such as the tensile moment of resistance. In coastal environment reinforcement corrosion is an obvious cause of deterioration of concrete structure, which affects the durability and service of reinforced concrete structure. Structural stability is majorly influenced by strength of concrete. Flexural ...

ABSTRACT: Several reinforced concrete deep beams with different L/D ratios (1.5, 1.6, 1.71) were cast and tested in order to investigate the strain distribution pattern at mid-section of the beam. This paper describes analysis of deep beams subjected to two point loading with three different L/D ratios (1.5, 1.6, 1.71) using Non-linear Finite element method (ANSYS 9.0 software). In ANSYS 9.0 so...

Enhancement of the response of reinforced concrete (RC) beams using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement bars has become a popular structural technique over the past two decades due to the well-known advantages of FRP composites including their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. Thisstudy presents n...
متن کاملAn Assessment of In-situ Frp Shear and Flexural Strengthening of Reinforced Concrete Joists
This study examines the in-situ shear performance and modes of failure of reinforced concrete (RC) T-beams (joists) strengthened with externally bonded carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets. The experimental program consisted of testing a series of nine structural components at the Malcom Bliss Hospital, in St.Louis, Missouri. The members were tested to validate the different systems an...
